About This Program
The Associate of Applied Science Degree in Industrial Maintenance Option is a comprehensive program that aims to provide future technicians with the tools and knowledge needed for success in the maintenance field. The program helps students build a solid foundation in electrical principles; AC & DC motors and controls; robotics; schematic diagrams; electrical system troubleshooting and maintenance; blueprint reading; hydraulic and pneumatic systems; mechanical theory; Programmable Logic Controllers; and automation. Students are prepared to take the Fluid Power Certification and the Society of Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP) Exams. The capstone course for the AAS Degree is INMT 2280, Cooperative Education-Manufacturing Technology/Technician.
