What is CNC machining?

CNC (computer numerical control) machining is a process that employs computer-controlled machines to precisely shape and cut all types of materials, ranging from unique polymers to the strongest of metals. This incredibly accurate technology translates computer-aided designs (CAD) into a set of instructions, known as G-Code, that guides the machine on how to move and cut the material with absolute precision.
