About This Program

The college offers an A.A.S. degree in CNC Machining Technology. This program provides training in a broad technical background in CNC machine shop operations required for today's precision machining technicians. It covers an array of equipment and processes used to manufacture components in various industries. The program includes training in basic and advanced precision measuring tools and techniques related to quality control and inspection of completed components. Students also learn skills in G&M coding, Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) programming, Computer-Aided Drawing (CAD), and setup and operation of Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) machine tools such as Mills, Lathes, Wire EDMs, and Water Jets.
