The industrial base’s dedication to the mission and continued innovation have enabled the Navy to stay ahead of the curve and anticipate needs, providing a strategic advantage and a fundamental differentiator in the defense of the nation.
BlueForge Alliance
BlueForge Alliance (BFA) is a non-profit organization operating as a dedicated community leader in the “Whole of Government, Whole of Industry” approach needed to empower the submarine industrial base to build and sustain the undersea platforms that the Navy and nation must have. BFA is positioned to integrate the partners and efforts required to meet the intense and urgent demand to recruit, develop, train and retain skilled workers needed to build the Navy’s next generation fleet of submarines. BFA is also leading the journey with industry and academic experts to scale and deploy advanced manufacturing, which is crucial to increasing productive capability and capacity across the nation. Together, with the thousands of suppliers across the country, these efforts will ensure Americans have increased opportunities to join an incredibly important mission that provides for stable, family-sustaining careers, ultimately helping communities to thrive, and guaranteeing those who serve the nation will be better equipped to defend it.
